This movie presents a unique and commendable attempt at creating a captivating horror film, drawing inspiration from classics like Exorcist and Amityville. The incorporation of a 70s late-night talk show reminiscent of Johnny Carson at the beginning adds an interesting touch, albeit slightly lengthy before delving into the horror elements. The way the audience is gradually pulled into the storyline is quite clever, almost making us forget about the horror aspect. The production quality, including the advert breaks, music introductions, and humor, is enjoyable. David Dastmalchian delivers a stellar performance, flawlessly portraying his character, while Ingrid Torelli shines even brighter. Despite being relatively new to the industry, her talent is evident, showcasing a different side from her previous roles, with a captivating presence on screen.
