Dev Patel showcases his talent in this well-crafted crime film, earning a solid 7.5 out of 10. His performance is captivating, reminiscent of classic Clint Eastwood crime movies like 'Thunderbolt and Lightfoot' and 'Joe Kid', with nods to Bruce Lee films such as 'Enter the Dragon'. The incorporation of Indian gods and spiritualism adds a unique twist to the revenge plot, reminiscent of Paul Andrew Williams' 'Bull'. While the film delivers on blood and violence, Dev's direction falls slightly short due to overly close-up shots and framing issues. Perhaps a larger screen format like IMAX would have elevated the overall experience.
