The beginning of this movie may have been slower, but the story really came together strongly between the first two films. There was a significant amount of character development and backstory provided. Viewers are able to understand the warriors and the reasons behind their fight. The villain is portrayed as a formidable force, capable of holding his own when necessary (as long as he's not too preoccupied with taking out his anger on his own people). The battle scene was truly impressive, reaching a whole new level of excitement. If you enjoy sci-fi, there's really no reason to complain about the (extra long) battle sequence. Personally, I would watch the movie just for that epic battle. It wouldn't be a complete review without acknowledging the exceptional performance of Hopkins as the lead character. It seems almost expected at this stage in his career. The ending is satisfying, not exactly a cliffhanger but definitely leaves room for continuation. afdah.live/rebel-moon-part-two-the-scargiver-2024/
